RELATES TO ME -
I am a nail technician and i work at Almond Nail bar. One day, a customer requests and describes a specific nail art design. The customer, on the other hand, speaks limited English, and the nail technician, while fluent in English, does not speak the customer's native language.
Due to the language barrier, the technician misunderstands the customer's description. Rather than seeking clarification, the technician assumes she understands the request and moves forward with a design that differs from what the customer intended. The customer is disappointed and frustrated when she sees the finished product because it does not match the design she had in mind.
This experience relates to the barriers in the communication.
